Read What Our Clients Say

  • "I have been going to animal medical center of Hollywood since it opened. Dr. Schachner and all the girls are so wonderful and caring. They are the BEST!"
    Lori T. Hollywood, FL
  • "I have lived in Hollywood for over 40 years and have been to every vet within a 5 mile radius trying to find compassion, knowledge, and a fair price. Found it and I don't know why it took so long. Dr Bob and his staff are warm, welcoming, and truly listen. His office has the old school hometown feel to it. I've enjoyed talking to other clients while waiting. I came here for a second opinion on my 13 year old cat and I feel like he's getting the best treatment for his situation."
    Sarah S.
  • "I brought in a stray kitty for a spay and rabies shot through Broward county TNR feral program. She had complications we did not know about and stopped breathing during the procedure. They gave her CPR and revived her but she did not come out of anesthesia. The vet hoped the cat's youth would work in her favor and she would rebound. He kept her at the hospital for 2 1/2 days on medicine and fluids. They let me visit each day even though it was during appointments/working hours. I was allowed to stay in the back with the kitty, talk to her, pet her. Ultimately she did not recover and passed away.

This was heart breaking, but he went out of his way for a procedure on a feral cat, one of thousands in S.FL and he didn't have to. Many vets do not accept TNR vouchers. He charged me nothing for overnights, morphine, anti-inflammatory meds, fluids etc. I was touched by the compassion of Dr. Schachner and team. They were all rooting for this little tabby to make it and I wish she had."
    Allison H.
  • "Dr. Schachner and the vet techs there are absolutely incredible. They have taken care of my dogs with such love and care and I cannot thank them enough. They have even taken me in twice before for emergency no notice visits since my dogs have been patients at their Clinic. Once for an extra visit post spay surgery and another time when my oldest dog hurt her eye. They are so thorough and take all the time you need to go over questions, treatment options if there's an issue, and talk about preventative care. Truly a great vet that cares and I can't thank them enough for taking care of my fur babies."
    Ashley R.
  • "Just wanted to say biggest thank you to Dr. Schachner and all his staff for doing such a great job with my bunny Rexi. They made me feel very comfortable leaving her there for surgery and Rexi recovered incredibly fast! Very grateful to everyone and will continue to bring my pets to this place. Highly recommend!!"

  • "I brought my Pittie Shugga here for care/treatment...the Staff and Vet were so gentle and professional...but more importantly..is they genuinely care about getting the proper treatment for your Pets..Thank you Doc!!!..thank yoy SAMMIE!!!..😜😉😇"
    Paul T.
  • "Dr Schachner is one of the only vets I've met who truly cares about animals rather than focusing on profit like most the other vets around. He is attentive, has a great demeanor around customers and doesn't speak down to you or try to guilt you into unnecessary tests/procedures as most other vets. Every time I've brought a monkey to him he has done extensive research to try and determine the best plan of action for bringing the monkey back to health. He then shares the research with me and explains things in a very understandable way. His pricing is also very reasonable. I would recommend him to any friend or family member with pets."
    Nicole D.
  • "Dr.Bob and Dr Janet are both incredible, compassionate and caring vets. My kitten got injured, just a year old unknown on how. They spent so much time, were extreamly thorough and did not rest till we had answers and a treatment plan. The follow up, office staff...words can't describe just how amazing everyone is. I HIGHLY recommend that if you want to have excellent care of your fur baby this is where you go. Have 100% trust in their ability, confident that my fur-babies get the best possible care."
    Joelle D.
  • "So caring and nurturing. Truly loving individuals."
